2019 Dabbs All-Area teams

The 2019 Dabbelt Report Miami Valley all-area team has been announced! These are the top high school girls basketball players in the Dayton area for the 2018-19 season as selected by Jim Dabbelt, a 30+ year basketball promoter from the region.

Each division will have 20 players named to the first-team and second-team all-area list,  and a Player of the Year.

The Dayton area continues to produce so many great players who have the opportunity to advance their game to the next level, showing why it is the best region in Ohio for the most high-level basketball players.

To be eligible for the all-area selection, one major criteria is that a player must play a minimum 11 regular season games. This will allow for small injuries and illnesses that may keep a player out for a few games.

Thank you to all of the players and coaches in the Miami Valley for your continued support to help promote your players. As said earlier…there is no place like Dayton!

Sammi Whiteman (Covington)– A great senior year for one of the most explosive guards in the area. Whiteman can do everything on the court; distribute the ball, rebound and is a great floor leader. Made her teammates better, and should shine at the next level.
